The Morgans have a pet!!!

Well, we decided this weekend to take Phoenix to Petco and let him pick out a fish. His three cousins have fish and he loves to feed them, so we decided he might need his own. He had fun getting the tank all ready and putting Mr. Fish in the water to swim!

Byron's project

Byron has been going every Saturday morning for about the last 6 weeks, to a stained glass studio for class. This is the project Byron finished. It is beautiful. I am really proud of him for his talents and his hard work.

Update on Baby Zion

Well I am 27 weeks along today. I had on OBGYN appointment today and they did an ultrasound to make sure everything looked good. We got a couple of really cute pictures, and even a couple in 3D. By all of his measurements they guessed him to weigh 2 lbs 1 oz today.

The first picture is Zion looking straight out. He has his eyes and mouth open. The second picture is the 3D one and it is his profile and he has his hand in a fist on his chin.

"OUCH"

Well this afternoon Phoenix was jumping on the couch. I had told him "No" about a hundred times. He got up to jump again and I reached up to grab him and sit him down, I am not sure if I just hit him or if I got him with my wedding ring.....but we had to take a little trip to the urgent care and they glued his eyebrow closed. Thankfully it was not worse. I am just hoping he doesn't have a matching scar to Aunt Jeni!!

Water Park

One of our friends had her birthday party at a nearby water park this weekend. Phoenix loved playing with Byron in the water.

Bella kisses

Our friends Todd and Katie have a pretty new puppy and Phoenix thinks she is the best thing EVER. As much as it sicks me out he loves to kiss Bella!!

"One of my favorite things!!"

Phoenix LOVES to go on bike rides with Byron. It is one of his favorite things to do. The only problem is once he gets in the bike trailer he never wants to get out.

The Belly!!

Well I am about 2 days shy of 24 weeks pregnant. I just wanted to show the progress of the growing belly. I am feeling really good except for the heartburn. I just gained my first 3 pounds this week. phoenix got to go to my doctor appointment with me last week and hear his brother's heartbeat for the first time...Now when asked what his brother says, phoenix's reply is "Boom Boom." Byron and I now fear little Zion may get stuck with that asa nickname!!

The Morgan's Going Green

The Morgan family has finally taken the plunge and is going to start recycling.

It was an uphill battle with out Municipal Utility District or MUD. We had to fill out an application, which then had go to Round Rock Refuge to be approved. Then we had to agree to a 12 month, $4 a month change to have the privilege of recycling. Then when I got home on Thursday night our new baby had arrived. A pristine recycle bin that we can no put our unmentionables, such as magazines, paper, and cans. I am hoping my efforts will save an oak tree somewhere out in the woods so that my grandchildren can carve their names. I will keep investigating to ensure that our trash is truly recycled, but until then: Go Green!!!

In an effort to use less energy we have also replaced all of our standard lightbulbs with compact fluorescent lamp (CFL), also known as a compact fluorescent light bulb which use significantly less energy, have a longer life, and put off less heat which means our A/C usage and bill should be less.
