Christmas Eve with the Cardens

Our awesome friends Candice and KC Carden let us invite ourselves out to their ranch for Christmas Eve. We had such a fun day. We first met them at South Side Market for some yummy BBQ and then went to their home to hang out and see the horses.
Phoenix was brave enough to take one ride with Candice but we could not convince Zion to give it a try. It was soooo cold that day but they brought the horse out anyway.
My boys are pretty much convinced that they should live on a ranch with horses and chickens now. Thanks again KC and Candice, we had a blast!!!

Christmas in the Park

The community put on a Christmas activity day at one of our neighborhood parks, so we took the boys for some fun. we saw Santa , rode the train, made Christmas cards, and played with the snow machine. It was a lot of fun. Miss Jackson (one of the people that helps with the boys) came along, and I am not sure who had more fun...her or the boys?

Exodus Israel Morgan

After a VERY fast delivery (dialated from 2 to 7 in ten min. and from 7 to 10 in about three min. and push twice) Exodus Israel Morgan joined our family on November 17th at 12:10am (missed big brother Zion's 2nd birthday by 10 min.) weighing 7lbs 14 oz and 19.5 inches long (a whole pound smaller than his two big brother's were) He is amazing....we allready love him soooo much!
My sister Jen was here from Seattle and was due to fly home on the 18th. Good thing Exodus came when he did. I am so thankful that I got to have Jen and my friend Katie in the delivery room with Byron and I. It really meant alot to have them there.

Visitors from Seattle

We are lucky enough to have visitors from Seattle for 2 weeks. My sister Jen and her little guy Clark (18 months) came and stayed with us. They got here on the 5th and on the 7th we went to San Antonio for our friend (and pretty much sister) Tara's wedding. I was so glad I got to be there.
While Jen's been here we've made pretty much daily trips to Sonic for drinks, played at the park, and went to the best scrapbook store EVER!! I was so glad they came. I wish they lived here.

Zion Storm turns 2

Believe it or not Zion turned 2!! I still am in shock....why is it that time goes soooo much faster once you have kids? We celebrated his birthday about a week early since we were waiting on the arrival of baby brother and did not want Zion's birthday to get missed or overlooked.

We had family dinner and then we had some friends over for cupcakes!! zion was sooo excited when we all started singing to him.

Zion has been a blessing to have in our family. He is sweet and very, very funny....and let me tell you, he has the best facial expresions you will ever see.

We always go to church for the Halloween party and Trunk or Treat. This year it happened to be on Halloween evening. We got all dressed up and took the boys to the party.

The Great Pumpkin Patch Charlie Brown....

I was in charge of the feildtrip for Phoenix's preschool group for October. I decided to plan a trip to the pumpkin patch. It ended up just being me and my two boys and one other mom showed up for about 30 min.

I made the best of it though and Phoenix, Zion and myself had a blast. We rode the hayride, fed the goats at the petting zoo and ate a picnic lunch together. It was really a good day.

Family photos

Every year in the spring at church we have a week called "Friendship Week." During this week everyone who wants to participate signs up and you get a family assigned to you. You are supossed to do at least 3 nice things for that family during the week. You can do it in secret or not.

Well we were lucky enough to have gotten our gifts from the Penman family. Vince http://vincepenman.com/ and Rachael http://www.rachaelpenman.com/index2.htmlare both photographers and for our third gift they gave us a family photo session. I had just found out I was pregnant so I asked Rachael if we could wait until I was further along to do the photos.

We had our shoot and Rachael did an AMAZING job!!!
