Well, we decided this weekend to take Phoenix to Petco and let him pick out a fish. His three cousins have fish and he loves to feed them, so we decided he might need his own. He had fun getting the tank all ready and putting Mr. Fish in the water to swim!

How fun for Phoenix. That is my kind of pet, doesn't shed, doesn't bark and doesn't jump up on people, doesn't rub against your leg and doesn't mess on the floor. Good choice!! I can't wait to meet mr Fish in person some day.

byron looks like such a cute dad. We just got our first pet this week also. gerbils. i have yet to post them but it is in my plans to do so.
