Taking the boys on a Date!!

The other day Byron had a billion and one things to do, so I decided to take the boys on a little lunch date. Phoenix of course picked McDonalds as the location. We had a great time hanging out and playing on the slides!! Man I love these boys.

Phoenix Graduates from Preschool

Well we made it through our first year of preschool. Phoenix LOVED school. Every single day he would ask me if he had school that day. He went on Tues and Thurs and those quickly became his favorite days of the week.

One of the Mom's in our group hosted a little graduation party for the kids. They had so much fun frosting cupcakes, jumping on the trampoline with the sprinkler, and getting their diplomas...

So fun!!

Phoenix turns 4!!

Well as hard as it is to believe our first born turned 4 today. Byron and I took him to dinner and they brought him cake and sang to him. He was so cute and a little embarrassed when they sang. After we got home we had Josh, Chrissta and Xander (the big kids all had other plans) and Chad, Jeannie and Taylor (and Jeannie's parents) all over for cake and icecream. We had an awesome SpongeBob cake and then we opened presents. He got a bike and Leapster from Byron and I, a really cool sprinkler from Taylor and two Slip n Slides. One from Xander and one from Taylor Grandma and Grandpa.

After seeing all the fun water toys the kids wanted to play in the sprinkler. They had a blast. It was a very fun day!!!

The Doctor is in the House!!!

I am very proud to announce after lots of hard work Byron graduated today from Texas State University with his Phd in Education. It was a very proud moment for me. His Mother was also very proud. Zanell who is my mother in law's best friend flew in and so did my mother in law's cousin Virginia to be there for this monumental event!! I love you Byron and am more proud of you than you will ever know.

"Am I really 28?"

I had my 28th birthday last week and of course Byron went all out for me....First he took me to Fogo de Chao for lunch (YUM) then to see a movie, then back home where he had invited my sisters family and our good friends todd and katie to have dessert. He had an awesome coach bag cake made for me to match the real coach bag he got me as my gift......What a guy!!!

Zion's cute Curls!!!

Phoenix has always had great hair, but he got more of my hair texture with big soft curls......I am pretty sure that not only does Zion look just like Byron, he got his hair from him too......

The Zoo

A few weeks ago we went to Waco and spent the day at the zoo. It was the perfect day as far as weather. We had so much fun. Phoenix is still talking about all the animals we saw.

Home Depot Project

The first saturday of every month Home Depot has a kids workshop. It is free and just on a first come first serve basis. We took the boys for the first time this month and the project was a race track. Phoenix thought it was awesome!!! We are looking forward to next month, the project is a birdhouse.

Valentine's Day

I took the boys on valentine's day to eat lunch at Chick-fil-A. We ate some chicken, had some icecream, and then played in the playland for a while. It was a fun lunch with my two handsome valentine's!!!

Sleepover with Cousin

Phoenix invited his cousin Xander over for a sleepover and they had SO much fun.....They decided they would draw lists of all the things they wanted to do during the sleepover....The lists included things like, having a tea party, building a tent, making crowns with Byron, and going for two LONG corvette rides. We managed to do all the things on the list. What a fun time!! ( I could not get the top picture to rotate for some reason, but it gives you an idea of what the "list" looked like)
