Talking About Death

I read and article in USA Today is past Monday while I was in Houston which detailed how to make easier one of life's hardest discussions: talking about how you want to die. The site is called Engage With Grace: The One Slide Project (engagewithgrace.org).

As I get older and have gone from no glasses, to bifocals, to multi-focal lens replacement (maybe next year), my family and I have started to prepare for the my transition beyond the veil.

Tara and I have a will, but like most it has not been updated since we have had children.
So as you all are getting ready to make you New Year's Resolutions, please make sure that you have a will in place (especially if you have kids) and, if you are getting ready for surgery, make sure that you have an advance directive in place.

The end is coming we all need to be prepared!

"All men know that we must die. And it is important that we should understand....our departure hence..It is but reasonable to suppose that God would reveal something in reference to the matter, and it is a subject we ought to study more than any other. We ought to study it day and night, for the world is ignorant in reference to their true condition and relation. If we have any claim on our Heavenly Father for anything, it is for knowledge on this important subject."Joseph Smith History of the Church Vol. VI, p. 50
However, this is a subject most of us find hard to discuss, due to the emotions attached.

A little CREEPY there, Byron, but you are absolutely correct. In case of tragedy having those things in place allows people to move forward in a direction knowing it is what you wanted. We need to re-do all our stuff as well. Any suggestions for the best and cheapest way to do that?
